Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Administrator to manage and support our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and securing servers, networks, and systems to ensure high availability and performance for all users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain servers (Windows/Linux) and other IT infrastructure.

  • Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and other core services.

  • Monitor system performance and ensure system availability and reliability.

  • Apply security patches and updates to maintain compliance and protect systems.

  • Manage virtualization environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

  • Administer backups and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam, Acronis).

  • Provide technical support and resolve IT-related issues for staff.

  • Implement and maintain network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPN).

  • Monitor and manage antivirus, endpoint protection, and security solutions.

  • Maintain documentation for systems, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

  • Collaborate with other IT staff to improve overall IT operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a System Administrator or similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux administration.

  • Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V).

  • Familiarity with network concepts and hardware (switches, routers, firewalls).

  • Hands-on experience with backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring tools.

  • Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) are a plus.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA, CompTIA Server+, VMware VCP, RHCSA) are preferred.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).

  • Knowledge of ITIL framework and service management tools.

  • Experience managing security tools (e.g., FortiGate, Sophos, endpoint protection).

Work Conditions:

  • Full-time position

  • On-call availability for emergencies or planned maintenance

  • Hybrid or on-site (depending on company policy)
